Federal Government Regulatory Agency Recruiting (5 Positions)

A regulatory agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria wishes to strengthen its workforce for advocacy, standard setting, monitoring and enforcement of compliance with standards in financial reporting and corporate governance.

Accordingly, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for recruitment into the following job cadres:

1.) Deputy Manager

Qualifications
a.) Candidates for the position should have a First degree, preferably in Accounting or related disciplines, with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and a professional accounting qualification.

b.) In addition, a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in public auditing and/or corporate financial reporting,

c.) Strong written and oral communication skills and current knowledge of international accounting and assurance standards is required.

2. Manager:

Qualifications
a.) Candidates for the position should have a First degree, preferably in Accounting or related disciplines, with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and a professional accounting qualification.

b.) In addition, a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in public auditing and/or corporate financial reporting,

c.) Strong written and oral communication skills and current knowledge of international accounting and assurance standards is required.

3. Senior Manager

Qualifications
a.) Candidates for the position should have a First degree, preferably in Accounting or related disciplines, with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and a professional accounting qualification.

b.) In addition, a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in public auditing and/or corporate financial reporting,

c.) Strong written and oral communication skills and current knowledge of international accounting and assurance standards is required.

4. Company Secretary

Qualifications
a.) Candidates for the position should have a First degree in Law with a minimum of Second Upper Class Honours and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience.

b.) Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience in the general counsel and/or company Secretary role in industry; and professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries Administration (ICSA) or similar body will be an added advantage.

5. Legal Officer

Qualifications
a.) Candidates for the position should have a First degree in Law with a minimum of Second Upper Class Honours and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience.
