Last year NPower partner IMB to enable its volunteers join thousands of youths across Africa on digital Nation Africa to learn skills of the future. As a result of that, Npower set up IBM DNA Competition and encouraged many NPower volunteers to participate which they did and many of them earned badges in different digital courses.
The time has come for NPower volunteers who genuinely study courses on the IBM DNA learning portal to deploy a digital solution to help curb the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Nigeria.
During the competition period, many NPower volunteers earned hundred of badges and some earned 10 to 50 badges. What are you doing at this lock down moment? You can help in your own little way to educate people in your community on coronavirus preventive measure digitally.
How can that be done? create an app or a simple landing page and use your town, village, city, State as the app title and begin sharing educative update about coronavirus. Your digital platform can also refer people in your community to visit NCDC website to learn more about covid 19.
Nevertheless, NPower volunteers who were not able to participate on the competition can still visit the IBM Digital Nation Africa learning portal https://developer.ibm.com/digitalnation/africa to study digital courses, learn skills and earn badges as much as they can to boast their employability skills and help them find jobs.
