How The Npower Graduate Volunteers Can Make Best Use Two Years They Will Spend With Npower

You all know that Npower is a skill empowerment programme which beneficiaries are expected to spend 2years to gain job experience or employability skills. The programme has expiring date and as such, it is very important that beneficiaries make the most out of the programme before they are exited.

As an Npower volunteer, do you only subjected your self to only the responsibility at the place of your primary assignment or do you task your self with other activities that will help build the other aspect of your life?  This is the question you should start asking your self.

The most amazing thing is that N-power provided you with the necessary tools like electronic gadget, free internet connectivity and N30000 stipends which is an added advantage to enable you develop your other skills like digital and entrepreneur skills, and put back that skills into your work as NAgro, NTeach and NHealth volunteers.

It will actually be a waste of time if you end up not learning other skills that will boast your CV or direct you toward entrepreneurial part after the programme. As you all know, the programme have different components which I believed the non graduate component is more or less the one that can turn out entrepreneurs. The graduate component will only equipped you with work experience which at the end will require you to work for others, that is why is important that while in the programme you should endeavor to devote some of your time to acquire entrepreneurial skills so that you can get something to fall back after the programme.

That is why I created this  post to help the new emerging N-power volunteers learn from the experience of their Senior colleagues the 2016 volunteers who are currently campaigning for permanency in order not to fall back to the street jobless.
