Coronavirus - Things To Consider When Buying Face Masks

The World Health Organization (WHO),has advised that medical face masks should be worn primarily by people who show symptoms of COVID-19, health workers and people who are taking care of people with COVID-19 in close settings (at home or in a health care facility). The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control have also recommends the use of face masks by members of the public.

However, there are things you need to take into consideration before acquiring any face mask. Things like face masks seller, where the mask was sold etc.

Some people has refused to follow the safety measure of the use of face masks. They go about picking disposed used face masks and then wash the face mask and sell on the public on the street.

The best place to buy face mask is from a trusted pharmacist store or you can personally make the face mask for yourself or order a tailor to make one for you.

Do not buy a face mask from street vendor, properly check that the face mask you are about to buy is new and not a used one. A face mask is better than a ventilator so it is advisable to use face mask to prevent contracting the covid-19 virus to avoid using a ventilator. wash your hand with soap and water regularly as that is also part of the preventive measure.

Do not look at the lockdown as punishment, it is not lockdown it is care for you. Your home is better than any isolation center and prevention is better than cure.
