3MTT Announced Winners For Cohort 1 Innovation Challenge

Recalled that a few weeks ago, the 3MTTNigeria management called for participation in the 3MTT Cohort 1 Innovation Challenge, and some of the 3MTT fellows applied for the Innovation Challenge.

Today, the 3MTT management announced the 6 winners of the challenge. According to them, the selection process was tough, as they received numerous outstanding entries.

However, these six fellows not only met the criteria but also stood out with their innovative solutions, significantly impacting societal challenges in Nigeria.

Below are the winners of the 3MTT cohort 1 innovation challenge:

1. Farida Sulayman Unique from Kogi State: The app connects users with waste collectors in their respective locations ensuring timely and efficient collection of waste materials.

2. Ibrahim Laweso from Adamawa: The solution will allow farmers, buyers, government, and development organizations to facilitate direct farmer-buyer connections while offering a database of farmers categorized by crop type that enable them to access loans or grants to boost crop production

3. Yusuf Nasir from Kaduna: HealStoc offers a comprehensive digital health solution for remote rural areas, collecting vital health data, enabling informed decision-making, tailoring treatment plans, and providing remote healthcare support through telemedicine services and a cloud-based information system.

4. Blessing Nnamani from Enugu: Auser-centric platform in Nigeria aims to reduce Child abuse by addressing underreporting through aUSSD application and mobile software, prioritizing user privacy while promoting awareness and acting as a bridge between whistleblowers and anti-abuse agencies.

5. Michael Olatokunbo from Lagos: FRIXION is an app designed to improve the connection between service seekers and providers by integrating Google Maps as it aims to alleviate the advertising burden for less educated individuals in a competitive tech-driven market.

6. Chukwuemeka Noble Odoh from Rivers: The solution addresses cybersecurity concerns across diverse sectors, including consumer technology, finance, healthcare, and education, offering protection against various cyber threats and empowering individuals and organizations to safeguard their data and operations.
