Minimum qualifications for teaching positions in Nasarawa State

Educational Qualifications

a. For Primary Schools: Minimum of NCE from a recognized institution

b. For Secondary Schools: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor's degree with PGDE

c. TRCN certification is mandatory for secondary school teachers

d. NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (for degree holders)

Other Requirements

a. Certificate of origin from Nasarawa State (or proof of residency)

b. Birth certificate or sworn declaration of age

d. Computer literacy certificate (added advantage)

e. Professional references from previous employers
