NSFAS University Disbursement Date For May 2026 Update

According to NSFAS, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has successfully disbursed tuition fees, allowances, and accommodation payments to higher education institutions on 30 April 2026, to the value of R2.8 billion. This forms part of NSFAS’s ongoing commitment to ensuring effective and efficient disbursements.

ACCOMMODATION PAYMENT NOTICE

NSFAS further advises that, for private accommodation providers associated with universities and managed by NSFAS, the accommodation payment file requires additional review.

As a result, these disbursements will be released on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

Accommodation providers can expect payments through the day on the 6th and 7th of May 2026.
