The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has notify the general public that they will open the INECPRES portal for interested Applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election as scheduled below:

1. The activation of INECPRES on Friday, 18^th September 2026 by 8:00am and closes on Wednesday, 18^th November, 2026 by 12 midnight.
2. The Online application will be available on the INEC website via the link https://www.inecnigeria.org (for both mobile App. and the Web Application).
3. The web version (using a laptop and desktop) shall be accessible via the portal URL: https://pres.inecnigeria.org
4. The Android mobile App. shall be accessible via the link www.inecnigeria.org/pres.apk

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AD-HOC STAFF ONLINE RECRUITMENT (INECPRES) - GENERAL ELECTION

1. Supervisory Polling Officers (SPOs)

• Source Institution: Fed. Public/Civil service/MDAs — Qualification: Staff on GL 10–14 (Priority is given to qualified staff of NYSC/NOA/NIMC/NPC)
• Source Institution: INEC staff — Qualification: RAOs & other INEC staff not engaged in any other duties (GL 10–14)
• Source Institution: NYSC — Qualification: Serving Corps members
• Source Institution: Former NYSC — Qualification: Not earlier than 3 years before date of election (i.e. 2024, 2025, 2026)

2. Polling Officers (POs) & Assistant Polling Officers (APOs I, II, III)

• Source Institution: Federal & State Tertiary Institution — Qualification: Students in Penultimate year & students in year 2 and year 3 of study
• Source Institution: MDAs (Federal and State) — Qualification: Permanent Staff with OND or NCE and on GL 07–10
• Source Institution: Federal & State Tertiary Institution — Qualification: Students in Tertiary institution
• Source Institution: MDAs (Federal and State) — Qualification: Permanent Staff with OND or NCE and on GL 07–14

3. Registration Area Centre (RAC) Managers

• Source Institution: The school/institution hosting the RAC or Super RAC — Qualification: Head of school or a Staff of the school hosting the RAC & on GL 07 and above

4. Registration Area Technical Support Staff (RATECHs)

• Source Institution: INEC staff — Qualification: Suitable ICT staff (State & HQ) of the Commission not engaged in any other duties
• Source Institution: IT Student — Qualification: IT Student from Fed. & State Tertiary Institution
• Source Institution: NYSC — Qualification: Former Corps members in the Commission (Former corps members where available)
