EFCC Releases Recruitment Next Steps After Application Portal Closure

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC has closed the Registration for its 2026 recruitment exercise and are no longer accepting New applications. Applications Closed 1 November 2026 .

According to EFCC, the recruitment team will head to the next stage of the recruitment process which is Reviewing applications which is in progress, followed by Shortlisting and publishing of Candidates on the portal and notifying by email for Screening Dates .

Here Are What happens next After the Application period?

If you submitted an application, there is nothing more you need to do right now. Keep an eye on your email and the EFCC recruitment website for updates.

1. Applications are reviewed : Every submitted application is checked against the age and qualification requirements for its cadre.

2. Shortlisted candidates are contacted: Shortlisted candidates will be notified through the email address used to register and on the portal.

Screening : Bring a printed copy of your submitted application and the original documents you uploaded.

After the shortlist is published, shortlisted candidates will be notified through the portal and email. Screening dates will be announced after the shortlist is released.

Applicants should keep their reference number safe. Those shortlisted must bring a printed copy of their submitted application and the original documents uploaded during registration when they attend screening.

How to Know Or Check Shortlist Status:

According to EFCC, applicants will be able to check their shortlist status via the recruitment portalhttps://recruitment.efcc.gov.ng by Login. Shortlist notification will also be sent to successfully shortlisted applicants.
