Five Important Things N-Power NON Graduate Applicants Should Know

We pick out some key point from Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, President Muhammadu Buhari's aide on job creation and youth empowerment statement made on the latest updated about N-Power non graduate programme disclosed in Abuja on Tuesday, and compiled five things we think are important for you to know:
  1. 50,000 non graduate applicants will be deployed
  2. Deployment date is late September and they will begin training in October
  3. The non graduate N-Power volunteer programme will undergo three(3) month vocational training in seven disciplines follow by a Nine (9) month apprenticeship in related industries before venturing into self employment
  4. N-Power have six training and warehouse location across the country that have received tools for all the vocational trades from automobile to carpentry and all the disciplines. below are training and warehouse locations:
    • South South in Edo
    • South East in Umuahia
    • South West in Lagos
    • North East in Yola
    • North West in Kaduna
    • North Central in Abuja
  5. In 2016 301,000 non graduates apply for N-Power, out of the 301,000 applications received by N-Power only 124,000 of them were for the vocational trades in the seven disciplines
