Maryam Uwais Replies Aisha Buhari On SIP Failed Comments

The Presidency has been responding to the allegations by the  wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari that the social investment programme (SIP) is a failed project. Well Presidential adviser of the scheme Mrs Maryam Uwais said that the scheme has positively impacted the young population in the various part of the community including Adamawa State.

Mrs Uwais said, 290,000 people has benefited from that scheme in Adamawa State alone when the scheme kicked up in the State in October 2018. She said she believe that if Mrs Aisha Buhari were to listen to the information that is out there, if she will check  on their data she would be able to track all the beneficiaries and seen that we have over 11,000 graduate that have been recruited in every local government in her home State.

We have 440 non graduate, we started school feeding programme in October 18th, we are in 1054 Pre Schools Public Primary Schools. We have all the statistics in the event that we don't have the sufficient funding to address, we have by our own data. We have 4.2 million of Adamawa State indigence and if we have done 300,000 beneficiaries directly I believe we could do so much more if we have the capital.

So, I am saying that yes she might not have met them, the truth is that we are there, we are in the 12 LGA  for the cash transfer and we are also in the 12 LGA for the loan, we have at least 290,000 thousand beneficiaries directly that we are paying in Adamawa State.
