Mrs Maryam Uwais And HM Sadiya Farouq Opinion On NPower Volunteers Exit Plan

According to the information we gathered from latest happening regarding N-Power programme and what it holds for the future for beneficiaries, the Presidential aide Mrs Maryam Uwais has spoken again after the press briefing of the ministry of humanitarian affairs, HM Sadiya Farouq which was conducted yesterday 2nd December 2019. The minister talk about the exit plan for N-Power beneficiaries which she said that N-Power beneficiaries enrolled in 2016 are yet to be exited 16 months after the elapse of their contract, they are supposed to have been graduated to a more productive venture, that the Ministry is currently making efforts to develop an exit strategy, which is non-existent

The Special Adviser to president Muhammadu Buhari on social investment Maryam Uwais has also share more light regarding the claimed by the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development. She said the National social investment office (NSIO) has an exit plan for N-Power beneficiaries. Uwais told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Monday in Abuja that the plans were worked out "long before the progamme was moved to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster and Social Development,” NAN reports.

"We have had meetings with the Central Bank of Nigeria on different loan options for the N-Power beneficiaries after exiting the scheme.

If you are an N-Power beneficiary, you would remember that there is an ongoing transition path selection for the 2016 beneficiaries to transition into something sustainable. That we think the aide might be talking about.
