101,567 Payroll Survival fund Beneficiaries Received First Payment Today

According to a tweet shared by President Muhammadu Buhari, 101,567 Payroll Survival fund Beneficiaries Received their First Payment Today the 18th of November 2020.

It would be recalled that registration for the Payroll Support had commenced on Monday, 21st September, for different categories of MSMEs education, hospitality and other sectors (general); and ended on the 15th of October.

President wrote: I am pleased to announce that 101,567 beneficiaries drawn from 16,253 businesses today received their first monthly payment from our Payroll Support Program. The program is a @SurvivalFund_ng Covid-relief initiative to support qualifying MSMEs with staff salaries for 3 months.

So if you applied for the payroll survival fund category and have not started receiving your payment, stay calm as payment is ongoing.

Verification is still ongoing as the payroll support scheme targets supporting 500,000 vulnerable MSMEs in meeting their payroll obligations of up to N50,000 per employee during the duration of 3 months, starting from October.
