The Difference between Npower Teach And Npower Tech

In today's latest Npower news, we will be talking about the Difference between the Npower Teach And Npower Tech to clarify the misconception surrounding these two categories of the Npower Programme. So read on!

In the Npower discussion group, we noticed that some of the Npower applicants usually mistaken N-Teach for N-Tech so we decided to create this post to share more light on what you should know about these two different Npower Programme.

Npower Teach (N-Teach) is totally different from the Npower Tech (N-Tech). The N-Teach means teaching while the N-Tech means technology! One is under the Npower graduate component while the other is under the non-graduate component.

Npower Teach (N-Teach) is a 12-month work experience programme under the Npower graduate component with a monthly stipend payment of N30,000. The Beneficiaries are sent to various learning institutions across the country to teach in primary and secondary schools as assistant teachers. While

Npower Tech (N-Tech) is a 3-month in-camp skills acquisition training and 7 months attachment program under the Npower non-graduate component. The Beneficiaries of this category of the Npower Programme receive N10,000 monthly stipends payment.

The N-Power Tech is of two types, there is N-Tech Software and N-Tech Hardware.

a. The N-Tech Softwares for developers program will train, tool, and position beneficiaries on hands-on web and web applications developers for the local and international software development market. Participants will undergo a project-based model of training wherein they will be exposed to foundational software development tools as well as resources to thrive as modern-day web and web applications developer entrepreneurs.

b. N-Power Tech Hardware is a skills acquisition program that targets the training and development of beneficiaries as communication device technicians. These skills and capacities training include diagnostics, assembly, and repair of communication devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, laptops, and tablets. Trainees under this program will become self-employed in the device servicing industry as well as become employable in the burgeoning device manufacturing industry.
