The achievement of Mr. Kunle Adeyanju @lionheart1759 , the Nigerian biker who recently rode a motorbike from London to Lagos to promote the “End Polio” campaign, is a story we must tell and retell. Hearing Kunle discuss his experience and motivation made me proud because it highlights who we are as a people and what our qualities are; our resilience, strength, together with our imaginative and creative spirit.

On behalf of the President, I welcomed him along with the Nigerian Bikers’ community, using the occasion to also recognize the job they do across the nation by virtue of their passion, fostering unity every mile they travel. Beyond commendation, these are the kind of stories we must continue to tell, first to ourselves, and to the entire world.
