Advantage Of Recruiting Npower Beneficiaries As INEC Adhoc Staff - 2023 Election

Advantage Of Recruiting Npower Beneficiaries As INEC Adhoc Staff - 2023 Election

As the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC set to begin Adhoc Staff Recruitment on the 14th of September 2022, we will be using this medium to outline the Advantage Of Recruiting Npower Beneficiaries As INEC Adhoc Staff for the 2023 Election. So keep reading!

It is not new that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC like to recruit only youth corps members, students of federal government tertiary education institutions and federal civil servants to serve as ad-hoc staff just like they did in the 2019 General Election recruitment, leaving a chunk of competent prospective applicants like the Npower volunteers out of the exercise.

We believe that INEC can do better by allowing the graduate Volunteers under the FG N-power programme who are willing to participate in the 2023 General election serve as ad-hoc staff because most of the N-power volunteers had previously work with INEC in one way or the other as voter registration officer, proceeding officers and are experienced enough to handle most of the INEC materials.

The Npower beneficiaries if given the opportunity to serve as Adhoc Staff will need less training and will meet up fast with all INEC proceeding activities, there by adding effectiveness in the 2023 General Election.

We think INEC should not limit the opportunity to only the three categories of people mentioned above, but also includes N-power volunteers to achieve the objective of the project. INEC should maintain and improve on the mode of adhoc recruitment done by Jiga in 2015 where those that has worked with INEC before were allowed to participate. #NPowerNG
