The Nigerian Army is calling on all qualified Nigerians to submit applications for the Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Course 50/2027, for commission as officers. The recruitment exercise is open to qualified civilians and serving military personnel who meet the stipulated requirements.

Eligibility:

The Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Is open to the following people with appropriate qualifications:

a. Soldiers/Ratings/Airmen.
b. Civilians.

How to apply:

Go online and visit Nigerian Army recruitment webpage at: https://nashortservice.army.mil.ng and choose SSCC option.

You will be redirected to the page where you can read the conditions of entry for SSCC Course 50/2027

Click on the "Apply Now" button for SSCC 50/2027 to commence application.

Next you will be prompted to indicate whether you are serving or have served in the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Choose the appropriate option and proceed.

To sign up, enter your email address and verification link will be sent to you to verify and set your password. After which you will be allowed to login with email and set password.

Fill the online form and ensure all required documents listed below are uploaded.

a. Recent Passport photograph.

b. Educational certificates (of qualification indicated).

c. Certificate of state of origin.

d. Birth certificate or age declaration.

e. NIN and BVN slips.

Successful candidates will undergo military training and, upon commissioning, serve in the Nigerian Army's Combat Arms, including the Infantry and Armour Corps, as well as Combat Support Arms, comprising Artillery, Engineers, Signals and Intelligence Corps.
