While the existing Naira notes will remain legal tender until January 2023, it is very important that you prepare ahead of time. As a result of that, we decided to create this post to help you prepare.

1) Start depositing your Naira notes into your Bank accounts, some banks will not charges their customers on all cash deposits at this time.

2) Use your debit cards to make payments to reduce your interaction with cash. If you don't have a debit cards, you can get one instantly at your bank.

3) You can use your bank alternative Payments channels such as the mobile app, mobile money app and USSD code

If you don't have a digital channel, you can download your bank App from your App store or visit your bank website to sign up to online banking or dial your bank ussd code to bank with USSD.

Note that the present notes remain legal tender for all transactions until January 2023. So you don't need to panic
