Recall that a few days ago, the management of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellowship Program NJFP released the list of NJFP fellows who are been matched with organization. If you have not checked the update yet, read it here Link To Check NJFP List Of 1st Batch Matched Fellows

Further to the list released, NJFP Management has given a new update to clarify the number of fellows which has been matched in the first batch, and when the second batch will be matched.

According to NJFP Management reply to How many fellows have been matched in the first batch? They said 2,183 Fellows have been placed in 612 Organisations across the 36 States and FCT.

As regards to when will the second batch be announced? The management said they are finalizing the onboarding and deployment of the 1st batch. The second batch will be announced 4 weeks from now.

If your Host Organisation has not contacted you yet, be patient! NJFP Management have sent reminders to the Host Organisations that are yet to contact their fellows. Please rest assured they will contact you in due time, NJFP said.

The NJFP Management also released a Public Statement saying that It has come to the attention of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme that certain host organizations are requesting fellows to pay certain amounts of money to ‘secure’ placement opportunities. Kindly note that the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme does not charge a fee at any stage of the application or work placement process. Host organizations are not authorized to solicit money or extraordinary favors from fellows matched to their organization.

The NJFP Guidelines which guides the conduct of host organizations and fellows, explicitly condemns acts of exploitation, solicitation and fraud. Host Organizations and fellows are strongly advised to adhere to the NJFP Guidelines as any contravention is a valid ground for delisting/disqualification from the programme. Any host organization and fellows reported to go against the set guidelines and ethos of the programme will immediately be delisted.
