Breakdown Of Beneficiaries For FG Cash Transfers Starting February 2025

The Federal Government has given an update regarding its N6 billion initiative to support vulnerable Nigerians: Cash transfers & loans for displaced households and farmers

In the update shared by the Federal government contained the breakdown of the payment and beneficiaries of the initiative. See breakdown below:

1. Cash Transfer Program:

a. Amount Approved: 4 billion

b. Targeted Households: 10 million displaced households

c. Objective: Support vulnerable families, especially in the Northeast

d. Program Duration: February to April 2025

e. Special Focus: Women (widows, pregnant women, and those with disabilities)

2. Interest-Free Loans for Farmers:

a. Amount Approved: N2 billion

b. Loan Amount per Household: N300,000 - N 400,000

c. Targeted Farmers: Farmers in rural communities

Goal: Enhance food production and promote self-sufficiency

The payment to Vulnerable Groups Focus on Displaced women (widows, pregnant women, and those with disabilities). The Families affected by natural disasters and crises

The Initiative Goal: Provide urgent relief and sustainable support.

Ministry's Strategy is Combining efforts from Humanitarian, Developmental, Peacebuilding platforms and the Purpose Ensure long-term resilience and sustainable solutions
