About the NLNG UGSS

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has launched the 2025 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (UGSS), inviting qualified first-year undergraduates for the 2025/2026 academic session. The scheme supports exceptional students at federal and state universities across Nigeria to excel academically and contribute to national development.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently residing in the country.
• Have a minimum of five O'Level credits (including Mathematics and English) in one sitting (WAEC, SSCE, or NECO).
• Be aged between 16 and 25 years at the time of application.
• Be a full-time first-year undergraduate in the 2025/2026 academic session at a federal or state-owned Nigerian university.
• Have scored a minimum of 200 in the JAMB UTME.
• Must not be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of an NLNG staff member.
• Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.

When applying, upload the following:

• Recent passport photo (no glasses).
• Copies of WAEC/NECO/SSCE and JAMB UTME results.
• JAMB admission letter.
• LGA identification and birth certificate.

Selection Process & Important Notes

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take a computer-based online proctored selection test. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to the test and may be asked to submit additional documents afterwards.

• Applicants should have basic computer literacy — the selection test is online and proctored.
