The Federal Ministry of Works Nigeria is inviting interested and qualified Nigerians to apply for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's initiative on Engineering Mentorship Programme and skilled artisans for capacity building and on-site training, tagged: President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme.

The Federal Ministry of Works is a key ministry of the Federal Republic of Nigeria responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining federal roads, bridges, and other major public infrastructure across the country. It plays a central role in improving Nigeria's transportation networks, enhancing connectivity between states, and supporting economic growth through quality infrastructure development and maintenance.

Application are invited in the following positions:

Category 1:

1. Graduate Civil Engineer (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

2 Graduate Mechanical Engineer (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

3. Graduate Electrical Engineer (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

Application Criteria:

a. Be Nigerian citizens between 18 and 35 years old.

b. Possess a Degree or HND in Engineering course mentioned in each position above or a related discipline from a recognized University.

c. Be currently unemployed and not engaged in government service, or any full-time employment.

d. Provide evidence of NYSC completion, exemption, or exclusion.

e. Reside in (or be willing to work within) any of the Local Government Area where the Ministry has projects.

f. Demonstrate basic computer literacy. Familiarity with engineering software is an advantage (not mandatory).

g. Show willingness to participate fully in structured field training modules.

Category 2:

4. Mason (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

5. Carpenter (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

6. Steel Reinforcement Worker (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

7. Plumber (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

8. Welding & Fabrication Worker (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

9. Surveying Assistant (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

10. Electrical Installation Worker (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

11. Heavy Equipment Operation Worker (President Tinubu's Engineering Mentorship Programme)

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must:

a. Be a Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 49 years

b. Possess recognized vocational training, trade test certificates, or verifiable practical experience.

c. Be unemployed at the time of application.

d. Be physically fit for construction related field work

e. Be willing to undergo additional training, safety certification, and supervised project attachment.
