Applications are officially open for the Cellphone Repair Skills Program, a hands-on training initiative designed to empower unemployed youth with in-demand technical and entrepreneurial skills.

About the Program

The Cellphone Repair Skills Program is a 4-week, face-to-face training that equips participants with the knowledge and practical experience needed to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain different types of cellphones and mobile devices. Participants will also benefit from 5 months of mentoring and coaching after completing the training.

The training is delivered by the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) E-Skills CoLab, in collaboration with NEMISA, DSD Limpopo, NYDA, and HCLS.

• Class Time: 08:30 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday)

Who Can Apply?

• Limpopo citizen
• Unemployed with a valid South African ID
• Aged between 18 and 35 years
• Grade 12 with Maths 40% or Maths Literacy 50%
• Deemed competent in the pre-assessment
