The Public Service Commission (PSC) of Kenya has announced a re-advertisement of vacancies for the Intelligence Service Complaints Board. This is a high-level opportunity for distinguished professionals to contribute to the oversight and transparency of the National Intelligence Service.

Pursuant to Section 66 of the National Intelligence Service Act, 2012, the following positions are open for nomination:

Available Positions & Key Requirements

1. Chairperson (1 Post)

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Holds a law degree or is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
• At least 10 years of experience as a superior court judge, magistrate, or distinguished legal academic/practitioner.

2. Member – Advocate (1 Post)

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law.
• Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court.
• Minimum of 7 years post-admission experience.

3. Member – Retired Senior Intelligence Officer (1 Post)

• Retired senior intelligence officer with a distinguished career.
• University degree holder.

4. Member – Public Service (1 Post)

• University degree holder.
• At least 7 years of experience within the public service.

Mandatory Compliance

All candidates must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution. Shortlisted candidates will be required to present valid clearances from:

• Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
• DCI (Police Clearance Certificate)
