A Collaborative Vision for Change
The initiative is a high-level collaboration convened by the Office of the Vice President, in partnership with the Sterling One Foundation, the United Nations System, and other Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) partners.
This event serves as the centerpiece of the ASIS 2026 High-Level Policy Engagement, hosted under the theme:
“Scaling Action - Driving Inclusive Growth through Policy and Innovation.”
ASIS has established itself as the continent’s premier platform for fast-tracking the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by bridging the gap between innovative financing and real-world impact.
Key Initiatives Taking Center Stage
The summit isn't just about discussion; it’s about deployment. Over 200 senior leaders from government, private enterprise, and the diplomatic community will witness the launch of several critical pillars:
- Business Coalition for Education (BCE): Mobilizing private sector resources to fortify the educational landscape.
- Nigeria Foundational Learning Fund: A strategic fund designed to tackle the out-of-school children challenge and accelerate foundational literacy and numeracy.
- WYFEI Nigeria Platform: The launch of the Women and Youth Financial and Economic Inclusion (WYFEI) initiative. Nigeria will serve as the official implementation platform for this African Union program.

A Commitment to Action
The event will feature the formal adoption of the WYFEI Nigeria Declaration. This document commits stakeholders to a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach, ensuring that women and youth are no longer on the fringes of the economy but are instead the engines driving it.
By focusing on foundational learning and financial inclusion, the Federal Government and its partners aim to create a lasting legacy of empowerment and economic resilience for all Nigerians.
