35 Anniversary: CAC Declared Free 3500 Business Registration, Other Incentives

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) today unveiled its newly redesigned website embedded with an Al Lawyer Assistant to deepen ease of doing business.

The major milestone achievement was unveiled today during the opening ceremony of the CAC@35 anniversary in Abuja.

Speaking at the unveiling, the Registrar-General/CEO CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN Explained that the relaunched website witnessed a complete redesign, introducing two groundbreaking features: Al lawyer that enables users to ask questions about CAC laws, rules, guidelines, procedures, and operations to receive instant, accurate responses.

Hussaini Ishaq Magaji said the second feature was an Al Name Generator which allows Users to generate and reserve scalable business names directly from the website with ease, speed, and convenience.

In the spirit of the celebration, the CAC Boss announced Free Business Name Registration for 3,500 small businesses, to be distributed across the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

Other incentives announced by the Registrar-General include scholarships for six (6) best corporate law students each from the six campuses of the Nigerian Law School for the year 2026.

Announcing the donation of 120 mattresses to an IDP Camp, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji also Announced a Commemorative Staff Bonus of 25% of one month’s gross salary, Special Car Loan, Special Housing Loan among others.

The event was graced by top government functionaries, captains of industry anda former Governor of Bauchi State, Malam Isa Yuguda.
