NADF MGT Dismisses Viral 5 Million Farmers Recruitment for 2026 Farming Season

The National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) has informed the General public that the message circulating online claiming that the Fund is recruiting 5 million farmers for the 2026 farming season is false and did not originate from NADF.

The Fund has not issued such a call or opened any portal as stated in the message. Members of the public, especially farmers are advised to disregard it.

Accordingly to NADF, for accurate information, please rely only on NADF’s official communication channels: https://nadf.gov.ng and NADF social media platforms @nadfng.

The Federal Government of Nigeria established — the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF or “the Fund”) via an act of the National Assembly, known as the National Agricultural Development Fund (Establishment) Act 2022 (Act No 34, 2022).The Fund was established to address the constraints of agricultural finance and to enhance the potentials of the agriculture and food systems; the overall objective being to promote agricultural develooment and food security in the country.
