We sincerely regret to inform you that, unfortunately, we were not able to match you to a training centre during this application cycle. This was due to limited training slots and the availability of accredited centres offering your selected trade within your chosen location, TVET management address the unmatched applicants.

Matching is based on the availability of accredited centres within your local government area that offer the trade you selected. Where a suitable centre is not available within the selected location, matching may be delayed until additional centres are accredited or more training slots become available.

We understand that this may be disappointing, and we would like to assure you that this does not affect your eligibility to apply again, TVET management stated.

The application portal will reopen on 8th April 2026 via the TVET Initiative website; https://www.tvet.education.gov.ng, and you are encouraged to apply again. During the next application cycle, you will have the opportunity to select your preferred training centre directly during the application process, which will improve your chances of being matched more quickly.

Please note that this is done on a first come first serve basis. We encourage you to apply again once the portal opens, and we look forward to welcoming you into the programme. TVET management stated.
