NYFF Email Confirmation Update For 2026 Applicants

The management of the NYFF has Released a new update after the closure of the application portal stating that applicants who applied for the 2026 YLDF grant circle should please check their email inbox for an important update regarding their application.

According to NYFF management, after the closure of the application portal in April 2026, below is the statistics:

NYFF Application Statistics:

1. 3,328 Successful applications have been submitted.

2. 555 Applied for the Catalyst Grant category.

3. 2,773 Applied for the Development and Individual Grant categories.

4. North-Central has the highest number of completed catalyst grant application.

5. FCT Has the highest number of completed development and individual grants application

6. Overall, 60.1% of the applications received were from male applicants, while 39.1% were from female applicants.

7. Approximately 5% of all applicants identified as Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

Application Next steps

a. April - May: Eligibility screening and compliance review

b. May - June: Technical assessment and independent review

c. June: Shortlisting and due diligence

d. July: Final selection and applicant notification
