NITDA And TikTok Empowering Nigerian SMEs Through Digital Commerce
NITDA joined TikTok in Lagos for the launch of the Digital Commerce Lab for SMEs — a major step toward equipping Nigerian entrepreneurs with the digital skills needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Representing the DG-NITDA Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, the Director of Stakeholder Management and Partnerships, Dr. Aristotle Onumo, said, that, "the future of commerce is digital. SMEs must leverage platforms to access new markets, increase productivity, and drive growth.”
A key highlight from the event was the announcement of a strategic partnership between NITDA and TikTok, aimed at extending digital commerce training to SMEs, particularly those in remote and underserved communities.
Through a $20,000 pilot “Train-the-Trainer” programme, NITDA’s DL4ALL network will deliver practical digital commerce training, training materials, and facilitator guide to SMEs nationwide.
