FRSC Releases 2026 Recruitment Screening Exercise Guidelines And Dates

The management of FRSC has Released the 2026 Recruitment Screening Exercise Guidelines And Dates. You will recall that His Excellency, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria graciously approved the recruitment of eligible Nigerians into the service of the Corps.

The 2026 Recruitment Exercise commenced on 3 July 2026 with the activation of the Corps' Recruitment portal and the publication of the online application forms, thereby enabling eligible applicants to complete and submit their applications in accordance with the statutory requirements.

In furtherance of the foregoing, FRSC Recruitment screening exercise has been scheduled to hold simultaneously in the 37 Sector Commands from Wednesday, 19 August to Friday, 21 August 2026. The screening exercise shall be conducted as follows:

• a. Arrival of HQ Teams: Tues 18 Aug 26
• b. Screening Exercise
  • i. Officer Cadre: Wed 19 Aug 26
  • ;ii. Inspectorate Cadre: Thur 20 Aug 26
  • iii. RMA Cadre Fri 21 Aug 26

c. Departure of HQ Teams: Sat 22 Aug 26

In the course of the screening exercise, the following shall be noted:

1. Representatives of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) will observe the screening exercise. They should be accorded every courtesy and the necessary cooperation.
2. Note that applicants shall undergo the screening exercise in the States where they chose during application process, irrespective of their States of origin.

Furthermore, the Screening Team shall ensure that:

1. Applicants applying as drivers, riders, or articulated vehicle drivers are clearly identified on their screening forms by indicating the appropriate category.
2. Applicants applying as artisans, including tailors, technicians, plumbers, mechanics, and other skilled trades, are also clearly identified on their screening forms by indicating their respective trade or area of specialization.

At the conclusion of the screening exercise, all documents from the Field Commands shall be forwarded to the Office of the Corps Secretary not later than Monday, 24 August 2026.
