Google Blogger Begin Unlocking Blogs Locked Unexpectedly - August 2026

So many bloggers using the Google publishing platform blogger woke up on the 4th and 5th of August 2026 with a sad news that their blog has suddenly been removed/ locked on the blogger platform .

According to the email sent out to the affected bloggers, their blogs was flagged by Google blogger for review because blogger have determined that it violates their guidelines and have made the affected blogs unavailable to blog readers.

The stated that the reason why these blogs was removed is because their content has violated Google blogger Malware and Similar Malicious Content policy.

This situation caused a lot of panics as many blogger publishers troop to the blogger community help forum to lay complaints.

However, there was an option for affected bloggers to request for review if they believe that their blog removal was made in an error,.

Some who requested an appeal have seen their blog been restored today 6th of August 2026. If you have requested for review, just wait patiently for Google to review your appeal and hopefully reinstate your blog.
