FG Student Venture Capital Grant SVCG Cohort 2 - Apply Now

Applications are now open for the second cohort of the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG).following the success of Cohort 1

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Education, launched the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG), a major national initiative that offers equity-free funding of up to ₦50 million to promising student-led ventures.

In this second phase, 50 STEMM-based, student-led ventures will be supported with up to N50 million each in equity-free funding.

Successful ventures of this second cohort will also receive six months of mentorship, connecting young innovators with experienced entrepreneurs and organisations who can guide them as they build, grow and take their ideas to market.

Who should apply

All eligible Nigerian students currently enrolled in accredited tertiary institutions are encouraged to apply. Applicants are advised to submit proposals demonstrating scalability, market relevance, and the potential to address critical national or global challenges.

The management team are visiting institutions across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria, alongside a Campus Ambassador Programme in 20 additional institutions to help reach even more young innovators.
