Introduction:
POS Support is a role in the Digital Banking Services Department of the IT Group of the Bank.

Specification

  • Education: First degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Systems Engineering or Operational Sciences.
  • A second degree in any of the disciplines or technical certifications will enhance performance
  • Grade: 0ND/HND
  • Experience: 1 year relevant experience in Banking Operations
  • Skills: Experience in resolving Issues related to POS will be an advantage

Requirement:

1 responsibility for understanding internal and external client requirements and coordination of the fulfillment of those requirements working With other IT service delivery functions where necessary

2. Mandate verification

3. Generating TID and MID

4. New request set-up on CTMS and switches

5. Writing script for upload on Finacle database by DBA team

6. Engaging necessary teams for set up on TAMS and switches

7. Engaging PTSP for terminal configuration and deployment

8. Preparation of dispatch documents for terminals going upcountry

9. Post verification closure

10. International card acceptance request

11. Consumables/SIMS request

12. Updating the Alert portal with transaction download

13. Returned settlement processing

14. New Refreshed Template/Database update

15. Change/Modification request processing

16. Access and Alerts request processing

17. CBN monthly report generation

18. Settlement Issue resolution

19. Support issues (routing error, vise, faulty terminals. etc )

20. Business Office PIN POS (Configure, repairs and dispatch)

21. Monitoring (active, inactive, re-map, etc.)

22. PM data update

23. Delete and Enable request processing

24. POS Inventory and Store keeping

25. TAMS Support

26. Execute efficient POS and channels support services in line with agreed SLAs

27. Manage IT-Business communication In a way to promote both innovation and operational initiatives of IT and keep customers informed about IT services

28. Perform other duties as may be assigned by TL, POS Services teem.
