The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) shared an update regarding its 2020 recruitment which was suspended due to the covid-19 pandemic a month ago, the Commission has warned the general public against the fake letter of appointment circulating online.

SCAM ALERT! The attention of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been drawn to the circulation of purported letters of employment/ appointment allegedly emanating from the Commission. Members of the public are hereby advised/warned that the Commission suspended its recruitment programme in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Members of the public should disregard rumours of any form of employment/recruitment and treat recruitment/employment letters purportedly emanating from the Commission as a scam and report to the security agencies.
