Link To Apply For FG 4IRTA Initiative In Agriculture Sector N10M Funds

NITDA has opened an application portal for the 4IRTA Initiative In Agriculture and calling on those in the Agriculture sector to apply.

The Federal Government via the National Innovation Technology Development Agency NITDA has launched the Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies Initiative 4IRTA application portal for Agriculture sectors to apply for funds.

The Initiative is to encourage and inspire the use of technology, especially Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies like UAV, lol, Al & Blockchain, to optimize different sectors of our economy

The Agriculture Demonstration Project will allow FG to identify and mainstream market-ready innovations that leverage these 4IR technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability in our agricultural sector

Funding Opportunities

Selected projects will receive up to N10,000,000 in funding to deepen the application of 4IR technologies in their work.

he Ministry of Agriculture will provide support to selected pilot farms and navigate a path to scale and sustainability.

Eligibility:

a. The 10 selected projects are expected to be focused on the application of UAV, IoT, Al, and Blockchain in different agricultural sub-sectors e.g. crop production, fishery, livestock, and forestry

b. Project proposals will need to demonstrate the use of 4IR Technologies to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability in Nigeria
