Following the instructions given by the management of the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme applicants of the FGLoanGrant should update their NiN as one of the vital criteria to be eligible for the grant and loan scheme.

We notice that a lot of you have been having issues receiving code or accessing the link for your NIN Verification. So we decided to create this post to give a possible solution to the problem you have been facing.

In case you did not get an SMS and you want to join the NIN Verification exercise, follow the steps below:

1. Dial *5141*7*7# or follow the link in 2 below.

2. Go to https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/auth/nin/register to carryout your NIN Verification.

However, some of you have complained that the NIN verification USSD number is inaccessible and the verification opt code via the link is not forthcoming.

Note that the management is aware of this issue and is working to fix it. In the meantime try the following:

a. Try to update your NIN at intervals as this could work for you.

b. Ensure you use a strong network and a strong browser to access the link.

c. Try to access the NIN Verification link at midnight, at that time traffic to the site will be low.
