NYIF Loan: Youth Minister, NMFB Mgt Meet to Renew Partnership

In today's latest NYIF Loan news, the Minister for Youth Development Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele has engaged in a strategic meeting with the leadership of NIRSAL Microfinance Bank NMFB, led by its Managing Director, Abubakar Abdullahi Kure.

The focus of the engagement of the meeting which took place today the 29th of April 2025 was to review the previous implementation of the National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) and explore renewed partnerships for its next phase.

According to the Minister, through collaborative discussions, they examined challenges, shared insights, and proposed actionable strategies to improve economic access, skills development, and empowerment opportunities for Nigerian youth.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration in building a more inclusive and impactful youth development agenda.

The Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) is a government initiative designed to support young entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The program, created by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, aims to empower youths and create sustainable businesses that drive economic growth and job creation.

With an initial seed capital of N110 billion, the NYIF targets individuals aged 18 to 40, providing them with resources to develop viable projects and businesses in key sectors such as agriculture, ICT, and creative industries. The fund emphasizes sectors with high job creation potential and offers grants to support youth ecosystem building.
