Job Purpose

The Demand and Supply Planner will be responsible for curating accurate demand forecasts based on sales history and business plans. The role also ensures supply planning activities are aligned with stock availability, optimized inventory levels, and cost efficiency to meet current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

As the Demand and Supply Planner at Beta Glass PLC, your core duties will include:

1. Generating periodic demand plans/forecasts (annual, quarterly, monthly) using historical data, sales trends, demand patterns, and market insights.

2. Collaborating closely with the sales team to improve demand accuracy.

3. Leading monthly demand-review meetings to evaluate forecast trends, challenge assumptions, and achieve consensus on figures.

4. Developing a master production schedule for glass production in collaboration with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Plant Managers.<)p>

5. Preparing reports on production planning, sales, and inventory outlook to support material requirement planning, cash flow, and warehouse management.

6. Coordinating with KAMs, Supply Chain Managers, and Warehouse Supervisors to ensure stock and sales order availability.

7. Driving weekly sales target projections with KAMs to maximize business performance.

8. Optimizing inventory management to reduce costs and enhance working capital efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

a. A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Science, Management, or related fields.

b. 4–6 years of relevant experience in demand or supply planning.

c. Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision.

d. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

e. Excellent analytical, numerical, and presentation skills.
