Apply: NAF Opens Application For DSSC 34/2025 Enlistment

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the commencement of online applications for enlistment into the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025, calling on qualified graduates and postgraduates to apply.

Key Points to Note

1. Application Process

Applications are FREE OF CHARGE and must be completed online via nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.

a. Upon completion, applicants must print and submit required documents including an Acknowledgment Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, and a Local Government Area Attestation Form (duly signed by authorized officials).

Online registration begins Wednesday, 27th August 2025 and closes Tuesday, 7th October 2025.

2. Eligibility Criteria

a. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.

b. Age requirements: General applicants: 20–32 years. Medical Doctors (Consultants): 25–40 years.

c. Minimum height: 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.

d. Applicants must be physically, medically, and psychologically fit.

e. No history of criminal convictions.

3. Academic & Professional Qualification

a. Minimum of Second Class Upper Division for degree holders or Upper Credit for HND holders.

b. Additional qualifications like MSc/MA, computer literacy, and membership of professional bodies are added advantages.

c. Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects are required.

d. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption is mandatory.

e. Medical applicants must show evidence of registration with statutory professional bodies in Nigeria.

4. Important Notes

a. The exercise is not open to serving personnel seeking Branch Commission.

b. Only recommended serving personnel who meet the criteria may apply.

c. The Zonal General Aptitude Test will be conducted on a later date via the NAF Recruitment Portal.
