This is a fraudulent act. The public is hereby warned that CEDF does not require any form of payment for participation or access. Anyone asking you to pay for entry, registration, or processing is not acting on behalf of the CEDF or its recognized partners, management advised.
The Creative Economy Development Fund was established to nurture innovation, support creative talents, and boost economic opportunities across Nigeria’s creative industries. Its mission is to remove barriers, not create them. Falling victim to fraudsters not only risks your money but could also deny you the genuine benefits of the program.
What You Should Do
a. Stay Alert: Be wary of anyone requesting money for CEDF access.
b. Verify Information: Always check official announcements from FMACCTE and CEDF channels.
c. Report Fraud: If approached with such fraudulent demands, report immediately to the appropriate authorities.
