Step 1 (A): For Existing Customers

If you are already connected to Kaduna Electric, simply write an application letter to the nearest Kaduna Electric office (Head of Metering Projects). Along with your letter, attach a copy of your electricity bill. Once received, a unique identification number will be generated for you. Alternatively, you can visit www.kadunaelectric.com to fill out the application form online.

Step 1 (B): For New Customers

If you’re a new customer, start by obtaining Form 74 from the nearest Kaduna Electric office. Complete the form and go through the LEAN certification process before returning it. The New Connection team will then forward your details to the MAP team for further processing.

Step 2: Site Inspection

Kaduna Electric’s Metering team will visit your premises to inspect and recommend the suitable meter type for your property—whether a single-phase or three-phase meter.

Step 3: Vendor Contact & Pricing
