South Africa DPSA Releases Public Service Vacancy Circular 33 of 2025

The Department of Public Service and Administration has released Vacancy Circular 33 of 2025, dated 12 September 2025. The circular, published weekly (except in December), advertises vacant posts across national and provincial government departments.

Key highlights include:

a. Application Guidelines: All applicants must use the updated Z83 application form (effective from 1 January 2021) and submit it with a detailed CV. Certified copies of documents will only be required from shortlisted candidates.

b. Closing Dates: Applicants must ensure submissions reach the relevant departments on or before the stated deadlines. Late applications will not be considered.

c. Employment Equity: Departments are urged to prioritize equity and representativeness in filling posts, with preference given to candidates from underrepresented groups.
