Older Person’s Grants

Payments for Older Person’s Grants will begin on:

Disability Grants

Beneficiaries receiving Disability Grants will be paid from:

Children’s Grants

Important Message to Beneficiaries

SASSA has reiterated the importance of Beneficiary Biometric Verification. This security measure is used to confirm the identity of beneficiaries through unique biological traits such as fingerprints or facial recognition.

The biometric details are verified against records captured by the Department of Home Affairs during the application process for an Identity Document. This process helps prevent fraud and ensures that grants are paid to legitimate recipients.

Key Reminder

Beneficiaries do not need to rush to withdraw their money on the first day of payment. Funds will remain available in accounts and can be accessed at any time after the payment date.

SASSA encourages beneficiaries to make use of banks, ATMs, and approved merchants for safer and more convenient access to their grants.
