The Opportunity: Training with Zero Financial Burden

The Leventis Foundation Nigeria Agricultural Training School is now accepting applications for its 2026 One-Year Training Programme in Agribusiness. In a significant boost for youth empowerment, the foundation has announced that tuition, accommodation, and feeding are free of all charge for the duration of the program.

The program is designed to transform youths into technically proficient agribusiness owners through modern and sustainable agricultural practices.

Areas of Training

The curriculum balances hands-on farm work with business management skills:

  • Crop, Animal, & Fishery Production: Core farming techniques.
  • Enterprise Development: Processing, packaging, and value addition.
  • Technical Skills: Basic Agricultural Engineering, Agroforestry, and Beekeeping.
  • Management: Farm Management and Extension services.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this training, applicants must:

  • Be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • Have a clear desire to build a career in Agribusiness.
  • Be physically fit.
  • Be proficient in English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking). Note: Evidence of a Junior Secondary School Certificate may be required.

How to Apply

Applications can be submitted via two methods:

  1. Online: Fill out the form at www.leventisfoundation.org.ng/2026lfnapplication
  2. Physical Submission: Candidates living near school locations in Abuja (Abaji), Osun (Ilesha), or Kano (Panda) can submit applications in person.

Important Dates & Exam Requirements

The Application Deadline is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, followed by the Examination Date on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Note: On the day of the examination, candidates must bring:

  • A handwritten cover letter.
  • A letter of attestation (signed by LGA Chairman/Secretary or a JP).
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs.
  • Three (3) reference letters.
  • Photocopies of academic qualifications.
