National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) of Kenya Recruitment 2026

The Selection Panel is currently inviting applications for the positions of Chairperson and Commission Members.
Available Positions
Position: Chairperson
Number of Vacancies: 1
Key Requirements: Degree from a recognized university; 10+ years experience in race/ethnic relations, human rights, or peace and security.
Position: Commission Member
Number of Vacancies: 7
Key Requirements: Degree from a recognized university; 2+ years experience in race/ethnic relations, human rights, or peace and security.
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution (Integrity and Leadership).

Disqualification Criteria
Please note that you are not eligible to apply if you:
- Are a State Officer or a member of a governing body of a political party.
- Have promoted ethnic or religious animosity.
- Are an undischarged bankrupt.
- Have previously served as a member of the Commission.
- Have been removed from office for contravening the Constitution.
Terms of Service
- Term: A single, non-renewable term of six (6) years.
- Remuneration: Salary and benefits as determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
