One of the latest regarding the GEEP programme is that the National Identity Management Commission, NIMC, and the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the NIN-enabled Government-to-People (G2P) Card Project for the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).
This collaboration represents a major in strengthening transparency, improving system, targeting and ensuring that Federal Government empowerment initiatives reach the intended beneficiaries efficiently and directly.

The NIN-enabled Government-to-People (G2P) card is a National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS) initiative designed to deliver secure, targeted government aid directly to citizens, especially farmers. It is a Mastercard or AfriGo branded, multi-wallet, biometrically secured card that enables offline transactions for financial inclusion and targeted service delivery.
