FG Launches RHGEEP 3.0 and FarmerMonie Programme

The Federal Government has launched the Renewed Hope Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (RHGEEP 3.0) and flagged-off the FarmerMonie Dry and Wet Season Programme, in a decisive move to expand economic opportunities, strengthen food security, and accelerate poverty reduction across Nigeria.

The programmes were unveiled in Abuja by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, through the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Key Initiatives

1. The RHGEEP 3.0 programme is specifically designed for artisans, traders, and microentrepreneurs. Its core objective is to expand access to affordable finance while actively working to transition the informal sector into the formal economy.

2. The FarmerMonie initiative focuses on smallholder farmers by providing interest-free and collateral-free loans. These financial resources are available for both planting seasons, with the ultimate goal of stabilizing national food production.
