The South Africa Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) is offering opportunities through the EPWP Youth Employment Programme aimed at providing unemployed youth with valuable workplace exposure and practical work experience.

The programme gives participants an opportunity to develop skills, gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, and improve their chances of future employment while contributing to meaningful projects and community development initiatives.

Duration: One year

Location: All 9 provinces

Requirements:

1. A recognized three-year Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a related field (Training) Preference will be given to candidates with Zero to two (0-2) years of experience in relevant field.

2. Basic knowledge and understanding of data management and reporting protocols.

3. Basic Understanding of or exposure to EPWP and its relationship with national, provincial and municipal government. Basic organisational and coordination skills.

4. Basic stakeholder management, facilitation, and understanding of government planning processes.

5. Sound organising and planning skills.

6. Basic communication (good verbal and written communication skills) and Interpersonal relations skills.

7. Computer literacy and operation of all Microsoft packages.

8. Willingness to work long hours and under pressure and to travel (as maybe required)
