FG Launches Digital Training Academy With Coursera, Funds 36,000 Youths
The Federal Government has launched the Digital Training Academy (DTA) in partnership with Coursera to equip Nigerian youths with globally KR competitive digital skills in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, af. Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Software Engineering, following its signing at the Education World Forum 2026 in London by the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, CON.
The programme will be implemented in collaboration with the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), with the Federal Government funding 36,000 learning licences across Coursera and Pluralsight in its first phase to expand access to certified digital education for Nigerian youths.
